The U.S. unit of Encana Corp (ECA.TO), North America's second-largest natural gas producer, said it will sell its natural gas processing plant in Colorado to Western Gas Partners LP (WES.N) for about $303 million. Encana's Fort Lupton plant in Colorado processes about 84 million cubic feet per day of natural gas. The company, which said additional midstream asset divestiture plans were underway, expects the deals to close in the first quarter of this year. Western Gas is a limited partnership formed by Anadarko Petroleum Corp (APC.N) to acquire and develop midstream energy assets.
