IAC posts Q4 profit on search revenue growth, (NASDAQ: IACI)

IAC/InterActiveCorp (IACI.O) swung to a quarterly profit, helped by its Web search business, and said it bought online dating company OkCupid for $50 million. The company, which owns popular search site Ask.com, said its online personals website Match.com bought OkCupid on terms that include performance-based future payments. IAC's fourth-quarter search revenue grew 29 percent, reflecting growth in revenue per query.
